1000VA/800W LiFePO4 UPS 8 Outlets (230.4 Wh)

Luckily I haven’t needed to test this for a long period of time yet, but I checked to make sure the battery would kick in when it was unplugged and sure enough it came on immediately! I have this as a backup for my fish tank and so far so good. It was plug n play right out of the box.

I bought unit directly from the Goldenmate website. I bought this to replace a Cyberpower unit that I've had for over 10+ years, and it was due for another battery replacement. My main reason for buying the Goldenmate was the Lithium-Ion battery which hopefully doesn't need a replacement for many years. When comparing to the old Cyberpower unit, there are a few things that stood out. 1) the power cord on the Goldenmate is short & didn't feel heavy duty, 2) The Goldenmate doesn't have a USB port to communicate with my server to initiate shutdown, 3) The Goldenmate has no industry certifications listed; like UL, and 4) the Goldenmate doesn't list any joule suppression rating. I'm going to keep using it and will update this review if anything changes.

One of the easiest to set up and use. Peace of mind and no attention needed on our part. Several short outages and the systems connected did not even blip. Just plug it in turn on the power button and relax.

The lithium iron phosphate battery has changed my UPS choices dramatically- instead of 2- maybe 4 year life of a UPS I now expect a 10 year lifespan. Seems to be quality built and relatively speaking bullett proof

Being a "young" senior, having a power outage occur while using power chair (recliner or lift) still causes a problem getting out of a power chair in an extended position. Lift chair rated for 300W. This UPS has solved that issue and still enough reserve power to allow me to enjoy music & a light during a short term power outage. I like the safety of the LiFePO4 battery especially living in an apartment building.

So far everything is working great. The only complaint I have is the plugs need more space in between. You don’t get the opportunity to use all of them unless you purchase short three prong pigtails.

8 onboard outlets makes connections convenient. Smaller footprint allows me to keep it on the back edge of my desk.

It's working fine but suffers from the same issues so many UPS and powerstrips suffer from, poor spacing of the duplex outlets.They are fine for only standard NEMA 15 plugs.As is often the case, many devices are low voltage using power adapters that plug in and block adjacent outlets. Try plugging in adapters for small switches, routers, and other low power devices and the number of usable outlets drop fast!

This is "small" and very capable UPS. I played XBox with TV and sound bar at least for 40mins on it. It only draw about 200W on average at least.

I take one star for the smell. It was pretty bad at the beginning and was very concerning. I'm sensitive to smells. But with time it's way better now.

Excellent UPS. Have done manual tests and the switch over is perfect. No interruption or loss of connection. Purchased mainly for my router and modem. Both tests went 45 minutes before it lost 1 bar of battery display. Provided more than enough time to power down my desktop. I’m guessing the UPS would give me about 4 hours with my low usage power load of only modem and router. EASY setup, Highly recommended!!

I like the unit, but don't like the company. The discount was supposed to come up at checkout. It did not. I got an email a few days later with a discount good only on another purchase. I bitched to CS, more than once describing the situation; they did not respond. They got my money, and they're keeping it.

Works well for computers, size of unit is good.
Only wish is that it had a port so that server would know it is on backup power.

Very substantial unit. Like the predicted lifespan. I do miss the feature of the unit it replacing that tells the minutes of battery time left, but i guess is complicated since it doesn't know what the load will be going forward. I was a bit surprised by the requirements for space around the unit, for heat dissipation. It would not have changed my purchase decision, but it did affect my setup scheme. Thanks for asking.

Nice unit. I tested it under load and it lasted 3x longer than my old lead-acid battery UPS.

The entire process from selecting the UPS, ordering and being notified every step until the UPS was delivered to my door was easy and problem free. The UPS was easy to set up and was put to use immediately with no issues what so ever. I did input power failure testing and the UPS performed exactly as specified.
I recommend Goldenmate Battery for price and performance.

I was in the market for a new UPS and ended up purchasing one of these. Color me unimpressed as it has none of bells and whistles one would expect to find on a new UPS at this price point. I guess if you’re looking for the most basic of UPSs this would fit the bill but I needed more as this was to replace an older APC which offers an additional wired connect and network UPS tools. The LCD screen stays lite 24/7 and there is no way to dim the brightness or turn it off. It also lacks any cable or Ethernet surge protection.

Arrived on time and Installation was a breeze.

I bought this to provide backup up power for my Synology disk station. I got this one based on price, capacity, and the fact it was supposed to communicate with the Synology setup. I have validated this communication. If power goes out, my Synology setup will know it has happened, sends me an email, and places it in a safer shutdown state.

I bought this for my son mainly to filter the power from our non-inverter generator to his high end computer during power outages. We've had a couple outages since and it's instantly kicked into battery mode, and once I got the generator going it ran the computer without any damage occurring. We've only had it for 8 months so I can't comment on longevity yet but so far so good.
